This website is for parents and other adults seeking information about our studio and games. It has no playable children’s content or user accounts.
We use OpenAI Sites. In the EEA, the contractual hosting provider is OpenAI Ireland Ltd. Loading a page involves technical data such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser and device information and, where available, the referring page. Processing serves delivery, troubleshooting and security, based on our legitimate interest in a secure and accessible information website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
OpenAI’s applicable data processing terms govern hosting under Art. 28 GDPR, in particular the ChatGPT Sites Data Processing Addendum. Technical data is retained as required for hosting, security and contractual obligations. The contractual processing period covers the service term and subsequent winding-up and deletion; legal obligations may require further retention. This does not promise automatic deletion of every access log after a fixed number of days.
Visitor statistics, cookies and external content
OpenAI Sites provides visitor and page-view totals. We use these aggregate figures to understand use of our information website (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not combine them with children’s profiles or purchase data. See the Sites documentation.
Our website code does not set cookies, access browser storage, or embed advertising, external videos or additional analytics scripts. Images and fonts are served with the site. The hosting platform separately processes technical usage data and may use cookies necessary for its operation. There are no contact forms or file uploads. External websites are opened only when you follow their links.
Contact by email, phone or post
We process contact details and message content to handle your request. The basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual requests and our legitimate interest in answering other correspondence under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Contact is voluntary; without necessary details we may be unable to reply. Please do not send passwords, full payment details or unnecessary information about children.
We use Microsoft 365 through GoDaddy.com, LLC, with Microsoft providing the email service. This involves message content, sender, recipient, attachments and technical delivery data. Applicable documents include GoDaddy’s Data Processing Addendum, its Microsoft 365 terms and the incorporated Microsoft data protection terms.
We delete correspondence once it is no longer required to resolve the matter. Statutory retention duties, including for relevant business or tax records, and establishing or defending legal claims may require longer retention. Retention depends on the content and purpose of each message; we do not promise automatic deletion of every email after a fixed period.
Recipients and international transfers
These providers and their service subprocessors may process data outside the EEA, including the USA. Their data processing terms provide for applicable adequacy decisions under Art. 45 GDPR and otherwise EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR. GoDaddy provides for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers. The linked agreements describe the safeguards and subprocessors; you may also request information from us.
Your rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you may request access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18) and portability (Art. 20). Consent can be withdrawn for future processing.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time.
You may complain to a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR), including in your place of residence, work or an alleged infringement. Our competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin. There is no automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
